Brainpower:
Might not appear to be one of the smarter villains, yet if one pays close attention you can see that he makes little mistakes, (nevermind the ending that was just bad script) and obviously thinks about what he does, like taking on a disguise, toying with Connor to unsettle him etc.(7 out of 10)
Physical:
There is not much arguing about The Kurgan prefering to do his own dirty work. Not only is he physically imposing, but he also acts like it. Grabbing people by the throat who annoy him, smashing through doors, yanking off car roofs or impaling guys on his sword, one can't get more physical that that. (10 out of 10)
Skill:
Being able to stalk Connor gets him definite plus points, he is also an expert swordsman, knows how to drive, I mean really drive and no doubt has to have various skills to made it through the centuries, although he probably relied mostly on force. (7 out of 10)
Presence:
He definitely is intimidating without lifting someone up by the throat, being tall and well-built. That dark voice is also helping in making him one scary person you do not want to meet in the pale moonlight or anywhere else (unless maybe you are into kinky stuff) (10 out of 10)
Sex Appeal:
What can I say, The Kurgan haunted my day dreams and the regular ones since I was 13. Even my half-sister knows I think he is hot and that I would not mind him bashing through my front door. He can't even knock you up and hasn't lost any of his charm in the last 16 years for me. (10 out of 10)
Toughness:
He always reminds me of this german proverb "Nur die Harten, komm' in Garten" which translates to "Only the tough make it into the garden". When I heard it the first time I asked the person what it meant and he said, if someone has his throat coat and makes it out into the garden, he is hardcore. Well, the Kurgan has his throat cut and immortals are quite vulnerable there, and yet he managed to kill Ramirez anyway. He even smiled after his head was cut off, that is tough. (10 out of 10)
Badness
I thought about giving him full points, after all he has killed tons of people in nasty ways, raped, kidnapped helpless old ladies - but he could have been a whole lot nastier. A lot of people who crossed his past have lived, even after annoying him. (8 out of 10)
